Tier 2 Trials Information

Trial Venue

All trials will be held at: Cannon Hill Anglican College Sports Hall. Krupp Road, Cannon Hill

 

Trial Dates and Times

   Women

• Thursday 5 February & Thursday 12 February
  5:30 pm – 7:00 pm **

   Men

• Thursday 5 February & 12 February
  7:00 pm – 8:30 pm **

 

Registration and App Access

• Returning Easts players from 2025:
  Please use the App profile you created last year to register.

• New players or those who played with Easts prior to 2025:
  You will need to create a new account and profile by following the registration process in the App.

 

Trial Attendance and Cost

• Attendance at at least one trial session is mandatory

• Attendance at all sessions is strongly encouraged

• Trial cost: $25 (including GST)

  • One payment covers all trial sessions

  • Payment is made on entry

  • Card and cash facilities are available

 

Volleyball Queensland Membership (Required)

For insurance purposes, all participants must hold a current Volleyball Queensland membership before taking the court.

• VQ membership must be renewed by 31st March.

Acceptance of Offer

• Trial outcomes will be emailed within one week of the final trial session. The offer will also appear on the easts app.

• To secure a place in a team, you must:

  • Accept the Position offer and Players' Code of Conduct, which will be sent to you via the easts App

  • Pay a non-refundable commitment fee of $200 at the time of acceptance

 

Tier 2 Season and Training

Training

• Training for Easts adult teams will be held on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday evenings

• The full training schedule will be released after team selections are finalised

 

2026 Season Dates

• Season commencement: Sunday 26 April 2026

• Grand Finals: All Tier 2 competitions – Sunday 13 September 2026

  • Challenger Division – Sunday 30 August 2026
