PVL 2024 Tier 1

This is a division of the Volleyball Queensland Premier Volleyball League - the highest level of weekly volleyball competition in South-east Queensland.

This Tier encompasses what was previously Premier Division and Division 1.  In 2024, these divisions will be called:

  • Premier Division

  • Challenger Division

Easts PVL 2024 Tier 1 Program

Tier 1 is an open age-group division and a competition at the highest level. There is a women's and men's competition for each of these divisions. Each club is limited to entering 1 team in each of those divisions. 

​

In 2024, Easts plans to enter teams in each of those divisions for both the men's and women's competitions.

​

This Tier plays mostly on Sundays but there may be some games on a Saturday evening.

Women and Men PVL Tier 1 (Premier and Challenger divisions)

Thurs 8th Feb:

  • 6:30 – 8:00pm at Balmoral SHS - Women

  • 8:00 – 9:30pm at Balmoral SHS - Men

Sat 10th Feb:

  • 4:00-6:00pm at Boondall E. Sports Centre - Women/Men

Thurs 15th Feb:

  • 6:30 – 8:00pm at Balmoral SHS - Women

  • 8:00 – 9:30pm at Balmoral SHS - Men

Trial Costs

It is mandatory to attend at least 1 trial session, and we strongly encourage attendance at all sessions. The cost for trials is $15 (including GST) per trial.

 
PVL Tier 1 Season and Training

Training for Easts adult teams will be on Tuesday or Wednesday nights and the Premier teams have an alternative session on Thursday night. The venue for training will be St Laurences College. South Brisbane. The full training schedule will be released following the conclusion of trials and selections.

In 2024, the Tier 1 season will commence on Sunday 14 April, 2024. Grand Finals for Tier 1 will be held on Sunday 3 August, 2024.
