Queensland Health News: Easing of Restrictions in Greater Brisbane

The lockdown placed on Greater Brisbane has been lifted and as of 1am, Friday 22 January 2021, restrictions placed on Greater Brisbane will be eased to that in early December 2020 (Stage 6).

Masks are no longer required when attending Easts Volleyball trainings.

  •  Social distancing has eased to 1 person per 2 square metres.

  •  QR Code entry is still mandatory for all athletes/spectators/coaches/staff.

  •  Equipment will be sanitised after use (training)

Easts reserves the right to refuse entry or service to those who disregard health directives. Please do not attend training if you are sick or have been sick in the past 14 days.

Queensland is currently under Stage 6 of COVID-19 Restrictions.

Under this stage, sport has largely returned back to normal with some minor changes maintained in order to ensure public safety.

  • Maintain Social Distancing  (2 person per 4 sq metres)

  • Practice personal hygiene (washing hands etc)

  • Ensuring that details in QR Check-in is correct

  • Not turning up if unwell

  • Balls and equipment will be sanitised after use
